Unlike other hosting companies that supply off-the-shelf solutions, we are able to customise these server specifications to meet your exact requirements. Most upgrades are completed as one-off charges to pay for the parts, future replacements and engineer time. Your monthly subscription charges remain unchanged.
On both Windows and Linux based machines we can provide our customers with our very own control panel. Designed in-house, it provides customers with a very simple way to view and manage their server. This ensures that even those customers with very little hosting experience can setup and configure hosting accounts with ease.
All our servers are connected via a gigabit connection as standard. The connection isn't unmetered, but is provided with a very generous 10TB (terabyte) allowance on our lower spec machines and a significant 100TB quota on our largest specification machines. Both of which should be more than enough for even the most demanding of applications.
All CIX servers are backed up by a comprehensive service level agreement covering you on all aspects of our service. This includes instant hardware replacement, 5 minute engineer response times, and 100% network uptime guarantees.
All our support is housed internally based in Surrey. There are no "press 2 for.." options to work your way through, you will be straight through to a fully trained member of staff within seconds of calling. Email support is also provided with most emails gaining a response within 20 minutes regardless of the question.
Unforeseen problems can occur at any time, and for these reasons we provide our dedicated server clients with contact numbers for key personnel that can be connected in emergency situations outside of office hours every day of the week. All our data centres are manned with qualified engineers able to complete simple or complex tasks.
A KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) is a hardware device that allows a user to control their dedicated server from a console level as if you had a screen and keyboard directly connected at the data centre. This is ideal if you would like ultimate control of your server including BIOS access. This feature is available as standard on all our server specifications.
We always recommend using servers with RAID as it provides a degree of security in the event of disk failure. We offer both RAID 1 (with 2 mirrored disks) and for best performance and redundancy RAID 10 (with 4 mirrored and striped disks). If you have any special requirements please let us know. All our server cases can support up to 4 drives as standard. Larger cases available on request.
For Windows users you have full administrator Remote Desktop rights, and Linux machines full root SSH access, allowing you to control the machine and install and configure all aspects of the server. Alternatively you can use our control panels to setup and configure accounts without any previous experience needed!

Microsoft SQL can be very expensive to purchase outright. We are able to provide our Windows dedicated server customers with the following license options. These can be ordered when requesting your server or installed at a later date.

Dedicated servers provide the ultimate solution where flexibility and uptime is paramount. Each dedicated server is supplied with 100% Networking uptime, instant reboots, instant hardware replacement, full security patching and 5 minute engineer response time, providing the ultimate service in dedicated server hosting.
Available as a free option on Windows and Linux dedicated servers, our control panel gives you the ability to setup, manage and secure your server with the most limited of experience of running a machine. You can still root access and access the machine, but for the most part our panel will complete tasks for you.
We can provide professional SSL certificates to meet your needs. Supplied either for self-install or as part of a managed installation if you would prefer us to take care of this for you.
All our servers benefit from RAID-1 as standard ensuring disk mirroring. For extra piece of mind, and the ability to roll back data, choose an optional off-site backup package. Backups are automated and access to data available via FTP for speedy recovery.
